Pop
“They Call It Falling” is a song written by Amy Bouman and is a remix of her 2025 single. Brett Ensley in Greenville, SC programmed all of the drum, bass, keyboard, and synth tracks, while various musicians performed on guitar. Michael Ridenour mixed the track and tuned the lead and background vocals. The background vocals were recorded in mono and “stereoized” during the mixing process to produce a wider BGV image. Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee, performed the mastering.
Rock
“Say You’re Mine” is a song written by the Andrew Thelston Band from Asheville, North Carolina, released in 2025. The track was recorded by Andrew Thelston and Daniel Nesbit at Electric Blue Studios. Credits include: Andrew Thelston, guitars, keyboards, and lead vocals; Jeff Lott, drums; Walker Astin, bass; Katie Lyre, backing vocals; and JC Mears, percussion. Mixing and vocal tuning were performed by Michael Ridenour. Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee, was responsible for the mastering.
Heavy Rock
“Wake Up” is a song written by Jeremy Abee and Mike Ridenour. Credits include: Jeremy Abee, vocals; Mike Ridenour, all guitars, drum and bass programming, keyboards. Mixing and vocal tuning were performed by Michael Ridenour. All guitars were recorded with the Axe-Fx III guitar processor. Drums were programmed in Superior Drummer 3. The bass guitar was programmed in EzBass, and the keyboards were programmed with Aurturia. Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee, was responsible for the mastering.
Classical
“La Rosa,” composed by Mauro Giuliani, is from the album “Italian Romantic Music of the Early 19th Century,” performed by Dr. Douglas James on a 19th-century classical guitar. This track was recorded by Michael Ridenour with two Neumann KM84 microphones in Rosen Concert Hall at the Appalachian State University School of Music. Both microphones were processed through a Studio Technologies preamp and fed directly into a Digital Audio Tape (DAT) machine. “La Rosa” was edited on Pro Tools at the University of North Carolina at Asheville recording studios in December of 1996 by Michael Ridenour. The album was mastered at Sony Music in New York and released on the Cala Vista record label in 1997.
