Music Examples

Rock

The track below is performed by Jeremy Abee on vocals.  All of the music was composed and recorded by Michael Ridenour at Fusion Music Studios.  All lyrics and vocal melodies were composed by Jeremy Abee.  The drums were custom created and programmed using Superior Drummer 3.  The bass guitar was custom created and programmed using EZBass.  The keyboards were composed and programmed by Michael Ridenour using the Arturia keyboard collection.  All rhythm and lead guitars were performed by Michael Ridenour using the Neural DSP Soldano plugin.  All production and mixing were performed by Michael Ridenour at Fusion Music Studios.  Mastering was done at Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee.  This is a good example of the collaboration and production quality that can be produced for singer/songwriters who use Fusion Music Studios no matter the genre.


Folk/Americana

The track below was written and performed by Asheville, North Carolina singer/songwriter, Kate Leigh Bryant.  The track is entitled “Carolina” and is featured on her 2023 EP “Roots.”  The track was produced and recorded by Andrew Thelston in his studio in Black Mountain, North Carolina and was mixed by Michael Ridenour at Fusion Music Studios.  The track was mastered at Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee.


Smooth Jazz

The track below is a smooth jazz version of the Christmas classic, “What Child Is This?” with Jim Hayward on saxophone. The track was composed, performed, and produced by Carol Nethen West and was released to the international smooth jazz radio market in 2021.  Drum and bass guitar programming was composed and programmed by Michael Ridenour using Superior Drummer 3 and EZBass, respectively.  Rhythm guitars were performed by Michael Ridenour.  Mixing was done by Michael Ridenour at Fusion Music Studios.  Mastering was done at Sage Audio in Nashville, Tennessee.


Classical

The track below is performed by Douglas James (solo classical guitar) on a period instrument built by French maker, Jaques Derazey, in the 1830’s.  The piece is composed by Mauro Giuliani entitled “La Rose” Op. 46, No. 9 from the album “Italian Romantic Music of the Early 19th Century.”   The entire album was digitally recorded straight to two track, in Rosen Concert Hall at Appalachian State University, and edited with Pro Tools.  All tracks were mastered at Sony Classical in New York.
